My wife and I just celebrated our 56th anniversary on Christmas day. (That decision in itself is a bit of a long story.) No other spouses for either of us, and in my case no real girlfriends during school and growing up.
Been married to the same gal for 38+ years. We met in high school and married as soon as we graduated. She qualifies for sainthood after putting up with me and my horseshit all these years.
Married. Two days from now it will be 33 years. She was a bank teller in the drive through of my bank. I was making up reasons I needed to make runs to the bank.
Divorced 3 times, 13 years, 8 years, and 6 years. I’ve got more money and freedom than I’ve ever had. There’s always a woman around when I want one. Most of the time I don’t.
Met my wife on a blind date the week before I started classes as a college freshman, dated through those years, and married the week after graduation in 1969. It has been a wonderful 56 years.
First wife 1993 died 2002, second and last wife 2019. We actually met a long time ago when I was 24 and she was 19 with a false "21" ID (1984ish). We worked together and kept in touch and did or own thing till recently. We got married Dec 19th 2019.
