Does anyone understand what the supposed cure is supposed to actually be? I didn't understand that part. .

Basically bio-terrorism.

I think he was saying that he was part of the team that helped cook up genetically modified organisms to use against other organisms and that if he could get to the labs, he could tweak the genetic code of some of the "in stock" bugs to fight this virus/organism.

I think it would be like the guys who let the "love bugs" loose in Florida to kill mosquitoes.
