My least favorite character. Killing her off brings good shock value without hurting the group...

Dumb broad deserved it. Attacking Dawn with a friggin pair of scissors in the middle of two very tense armed groups? Lucky more people weren't killed.

Agreed it was a stupid move to attack Dawn... and not kill her. Dawn's people didn't like her. If Beth would have put the scissors, or a knife, through an eye socket or in her neck, I doubt it would have caused much of a ruckus with the hospital group.

I wonder how Maggie will handle it when the season resumes in February. Also, curious how much time has passed since the events that just happened and Morgan following the symbols.

I agree with what Beth said in the Talking Dead. She said that Beth seemed to be overconfident in that decision. She felt that Beth had been gaining here confidence back and felt she was stronger than she actually was. Scissors to a gun fight-lesson learned. I also agree that she will be of no loss to the group, except that representation of innocence and normality.

The dynamic that the Beth character provides to Darryl is enough to make he valuable to the group. Her contribution was intangible. Every character like Beth. She was the reminder that not all innocence was lost when the poo poo hit the fan. now that is gone. Sure, she can't go get water anymore - big deal. Her contribution went farther than most.

Things are going to be very different moving forward. The show has reached a 'Point' - those that read the comic know what I mean.

This season sucked root. I wasn't surprised or disappointed when Beth was killed off. We knew from "talking dead" last week that a main character was going to bite the proverbial biggun, although I thought it was going to be Maggie or Carol.

I haven't seen this season yet - other than the first episode - but you can't take Maggie or Glenn out without the other going too, at this point: see how determined they were when they got separated last season.

Carol has already been "gone" once, and came back.

You may find out how strong Maggie can be without Glenn sometime soon.

Just sayin'
