LOL. You guys would understand Rick better from the comics. They've done a decent job developing the characters like the comic but they've rushed it and its hard to follow.

I think it hinges on the longevity of Shane's life. He was a total jerk, but some viewers agreed with his take on strategy. Most of the decisions other characters made in the comics were terrible and that made it pretty clear cut Rick should be in absolute command. The show has muddied the waters so to speak.

I think they've been pretty clear that they aren't going to be slave to the comics....I think that is as true of the character development as it is of the story itself. In other words...the Rick we are watching on the T.V. show is not and should not be confused with the Rick from the comic.

Wow, are we a bunch of geeks or what?

The 'zombaby' angle (Lori's baby dies and eats its way out) kept me awake last night.

Well, if it makes you feel any better....babies usually aren't born with teeth....and are pretty weak.

Maybe more of an "alien" presence for a while...

But a baseball bat to the ballooning abdomen would probably take care of it.....

Biggest question: why does the kid and husband hate the preggo chick? Am I missing something, or did they completely skip over that piece of information?

Hmmmm, let's see....

Early episodes made it look like they were on the verge of a divorce. She admitted that it was more her fault than his.

She sleeps with her husband's childhood best friend and partner shortly after finding you that he is dead and the world is ending.

She teams up with her husband's childhood best friend along with her impressionable son, to the point that it appeared that they were living together in the same tent at the Atlanta camp.

She get's pregnant and no one is sure if it is her husband's or her husband's best friend's

She tries to abort and then changes her mind.

She manipulates her husband's best friend against her husband.

She won't have anything to do with the guy she was sleeping with who saved her life and her son's.

She tries to turn her husband against his childhood best friend by telling him that Shane is unstable and a threat to his leadership of the group.

Her husband winds up killing his childhood best friend and duty partner as a result of her actions.

Her son winds up killing his dad's best friend and his surrogate father after he converts.

She doesn't want her son to learn how to handle a firearm, even though the world has come down around their ears and that is a way to survive.

She doesn't want to go through the various cars that they come upon on the highway, even though everyone is hungry and thirsty, because "it is a graveyard"

She is in a hormonally unstable situation (pregnant) that is sometimes difficult to deal with even when the world isn't ending, let alone after being cramped up and hungry most of a winter. She probably was a whiney wife to begin with.

What's not to dislike????
