I didn’t watch the series during its run on television. But, I recently started watching it on Netflix. The first 5 or 6 seasons were interesting and compelling. However, it’s obvious the show had became a product of its time. The amount of interracial and gay relationships in the last few seasons seemed to be pushing a political agenda.

Eh, I didn't see it that way. More or less people's choices were limited, so they paired up with people that were there. Yes, it could be political, but honestly if you put the same mix of people in that situation I would see the same thing happen. I just think the story board got so skewed when several key characters were killed off, even ones that survived in the comics, that it drove off many of its fans.

I see your point and I’m not opposed to interracial relationships. But, based on the demographics presented in the series, including the zombies, it looks biased toward interracial and gay relationships to me.

I guess I could never see why someone would want to dilute their heritage and genetics, but to each their own.
As for TWD, I loved that show for the first 5, then muddled through to season 7, finally gave up and quit watching altogether sometime after about S7E04. It just got too stupid to enjoy anymore. And yes, they were definitely promoting an agenda in the last few seasons. I really enjoyed the after show talk show too "Talking dead". Not sure if it's out there or not, but it was always on to recap the episode's story arc with some interested celebrity.
