It's similar to people in this country being so quick to say "Oh my God". Most often "OMG" is used in a non religious way as an exclamation of surprise or awe. Most commonly it has nothing to do with the true meaning of the phrase which is a heartfelt plea to the Creator and Ruler of all things. At times among the Middle Eastern regions, but not often, Allahu Akbar is used when a person can find no other words because of distress or trauma.

Well said. Surprised the videographer wasn't saying "Oh the humanity!"
