The only thing that would have made this better for us, with great respect to the officer, is if it had been done by a CCL citizen rather than a law enforcement officer. That way the public, although I don't think its an issue in texas, could see that there are some good guys out there that own guns.

I've pointed out in a couple of places that this isn't the big deal pro-gun people are making it out to be.

She was working there on a security detail. She wasn't there as a private citizen. This doesn't help our cause. Doesn't hurt it, but it's not as big a deal as it could be.

We need to focus more on the fact that the Aurora shooter visited not the closest theater to him, but the only one near him that was posted against guns.
