You really never know what will pop up on facebook marketplace. Scored these early 50's dandies for a couple of fivers today. Made in Waco, TX. Ridiculous American quality, came with the original 42 instruction pamphlet. Just need to find a set of amber yellows with black dots to complete a catelog set.

That's pretty cool. Family on my dads side owns that domino factory. Family reunions always had several domino games rattling. The fun part was always seeing who would get the one set of dominoes made for that reunion bought. I've got the ones from 1996 and a set of "Spuds McKenzie".

Did they used to manufacture those out of ivory? Or maybe they looked like ivory?
