Interesting article, but you can still feel the bias in it seeping out. Notice how it repeatedly alludes to 'lax US gun laws' and how many guns from around the world are headed here now, etc.

But it is a good reminder, I need to buy some AK's too!

I got mine and love it! First thing you want to do is convert it, if it's not already converted, to make it like the real deal minus the Full-auto, meaning moving the trigger group forward, changing the furniture and adding hi-cap mags. If you do this, you have to stay legal and google 922r compliance. It is real easy to do and fun and you will love your rifle even more because you did it yourself.

From the article:
“Typically, an American family will have five or six short- and long-barreled guns,” Mr. Kuzyuk, a former director of the Boston Consulting Group in Moscow, said in an interview. “Some collectors have more than 20 guns.”

Not far off for many American families. Reminds me that we represent a consumer pool worth researching.

Thought it was interesting about all of the links for "the renewed gun debate" in the US. More like they're encouraging more anti gun support. Saw the same crap happening within hours of the Colo. theater shooting. Every print and video coverage brought up the "renewed debate" thing.
