To Crimp Or Not To Crimp

I put a slight roll crimp on any rifle bullet with a cannelure.
Recently acquired a tool to add a cannelure to any bullet that doesn't have one. Haven't tried it yet though.

I crimp pistol and tube fed rifle. If it's going in a bolt action, neck tension is enough.

I wouldn't crimp any bullet with a cannelure unless necessary. It normally decreases accuarcy and little more difficult to duplicate if dies get adjusted for some reason.

If your using AA#9, Win296, H110, you probably better crimp!
