[QUOTE="jsl_pt, post: 1748067, member: 19194"] As I had heard we don't need to if we are not carrying, though I might mention it anyway....However the only time I have been stopped since having CCW I was driving company vehicle in McAlester, so not carrying since in company car. I though I was getting out of city limits and speed limit was climbing to 55 then to 65, however I was going through krebs apparently and it was still 45, I even passed a car knowing the LEO was behind me because I was sure the speed limit was higher at that spot, honest and stupid mistake on my part and he must have thought I was some kind of idiot for passing someone while speeding with a LEO behind me! I completely forgot about the fact that I had my CCW since I wasn't carrying at the time it didn't even cross my mind during the stop. I gave license and insurance info, but CCW never crossed my mind since I wasn't carrying. I thought about it later that evening and wondered if I should have mentioned it anyway. Has anyone determined if it is linked to our license or tag? Do they know when they stop you if you have a CCW? I was driving company car so tag wouldn't have been an issue, however my license obviously may have if it is linked to that. But in the end he made now mention of it, was very pleasant, told me to "slow it down a little" and sent me on my way. I don't know if it was McAlester PD, Krebbs PD, or Sheriff that made the stop.
