I just rolled my eyes when KRMG said "some places could get eight to twelve inches of rain". There's a reason people pick on weather men, with monikers like "Travis Liar", etc. Quit predicting amounts, and just say "some areas could experience heavy rains with flash flooding", or something along those lines. They typically get carried away, especially with snowfall amounts. We may well get a foot of rain - but I wouldn't bet a paycheck that my zip code will see anymore than an inch or two. If that.

Aaron Tuttle is fairly calm and is the only weather guy I have heard that does not use drama to bait folks.

And from what Tuttle forecasted yesterday, I think Tulsa is excluded from intense rain forecasted for OKC.
