Tumbling brass with rice

I don't need shiny brass either but if I could rig up or buy a tumbler for cheap I would try using rice just for an experiment.

With rice you can use it twice.

Seems like every media I use packs up in 223/556 to the point of having to dig it out. The Lyman red stuff isn’t to bad. Still have to beat every shell out though.

No rice, just corn cob in a thumblers tumbler.
