One month and a day away before season starts. Anyone getting excited yet? I will be more diligent in checking my camera cards over the next few weeks to try and find them.
Turkeys normally start showing up consistently on my place in early February, but they didn’t this year until a couple days ago. I haven’t been back to my new lease to scout for easterns, but I’m planning to go at some point before season. I’m torn as to which place I’ll hunt, but it’ll probably come down to where I think my success rate will be greater.
I’m so excited about turkey season I pee’ed myself a little cause I got so excited!! 
Had one walk --- really--- in front of my car on Highway 77 between Lexington and Slaughterville earlier today. It didn't seem to be in any hurry at all.
