So what do we do about their offices in New York?

Tax the bejeezus out of it!

The U.S. doesn't have jurisdiction on that little piece of Manhattan.

That shouldn't be too difficult to revoke! Oh, and all those unpaid parking tickets? Tow em' and sell the vehicles at auction! :D

Bullchit!

You just have to have set. It would actually be quite simple to do...

At one time I had a PDF of the "lease" agreement for that land. The lease is completely perpetual, cannot be voided without the consent of the U.N., and the U.S. agreed to defer jurisdiction to the U.N. so long as the U.N. occupies it.

I just spent about 20 minutes trying to find it on this computer, but to no avail. Google's not helping me either...

Easy.

The state of NY needs a new park.
That's where State of NY wants build it.
State of NY says GTFO.
UN says no, and pulls out a copy of said lease.
State of NY points to sky and says demolition starts in the morning, now GTFO...

The U.S. has a substantial history of breaking treaties. You really think a lease would be so difficult?
