Looking at the Ultra Fire's, or something similiar. High Lumen's, good price from Dealextreme.com, I have a couple of surefire's, and Fenix, but looking for something less expensive that has a lot of throw. Need more than what a Mag 2d or 3d would give me. We spotlight beaver on a couple of our ponds, but Mag's arent cutting it, the lights I have are great for shorter distances, but dont have enough throw. Dont want spotlight, too bulky, and I know there are some lghts out there that will more than compete with them in a much smaller size anyways. Give me a recommendation thats not gonna cost what a surefire M3 does...Thanks guys

Surefire G2 with a Cree (ebay) LED upgrade for $10.

Lots of Lumens, proven Flashlight body, LED bulb with none of the Incandescent bulb worries.

Fits in a standard 1" flashlight mount - or if you're on the cheap, a standard weaver 1" scope ring mounted to your rail.

I have a G2 and 6P LED, I dont think the reflector design is going to throw as far as I want. Last one I took was shot at about 75 yards or so.

This light is one of the best lights I have ever had. Very economical. Its tough and the best part is, if you lose it, just bust out another one. You can get like 7 of these for a price of a surefire. It runs on 1 AA battery(I recomend duracell precharged rechargeable batteries.). It outputs about 85 lumens. I can not remember what the lux was. It out throws almost every flashlight I own. I recomend ordering like 5 or so at a time as they take 2 weeks shipping.

I have an Ultrafire coming in the mail, the UV model thats body serves as a host for the P60 drop-ins that work in the SureFire P60, G2, etc. I've heard that they're cheap, but not cheap enough to break after a few months.
