They could very well be burlwood, they kinda match the dashboard in my convertible!Mike mentioned something I'm gonna think about. He said the gun was a bit hard to hang onto when he test fired it, probably due partly to the slick grips. He suggested getting grips with some checkering or some such. The grips are really good looking, and I like 'em a lot, but the next trip to the range I'll put on some old grips that have more "grip" to see if there's a big difference.</blockquote>
