Im in search of a used bolt rifle. Preferably something in 30 caliber. Im wanting to get my son his own rifle to hog hunt and dont want to be out a bunch of money if he loses interest. 22 inch barrel or longer preferred.

I have an almost new Baikal single shot 243 that’s a beautiful rifle and is very accurate. Composite stock with scope rings. Great youth rifle to hunt with. Can post pics here or send them to you. For you only because it for a young man I’ll take 325 for it. You see this rifle you’ll love it!

So I wound up buying a new Savage axis in 243 from buds. I got it on sale for $320 free shipping. Shot it for the fist time yesterday and I am very happy with it. That was some of the best shooting I've done in a long time. Very accurate. That bullet is flying at 3050 FPS too. Using Fiocchi 100 grain soft point. I did have to buy an EGW rail to put a scope on it. Thanks for the recommendation.
