Any vets out there? Have you ever tried talking to someone through the VA Office 800 number, if so have your ever got to talk to an actual person??? I have never got to talk to anyone it won't even let me hold to talk to someone. Does anyone have a direct number to the Muskogee regional office? I'm not talking about the medical center just the regional office. I have went down there to talk to someone since the phone is a dead end for me, and they act like I got the plague or something. It is a good reminder why I got out though, anytime I think about getting back in I just go to the VA and those thoughts pass!

Have it from a good source to try 918-577-3000. Will still be a recording but with some effort you can get to a live "person". Best of luck brother.................

If you hang in there, you will get thru. There phone tree tries to answer any questions before you get to and actual person. I hate phone trees!

What are you trying to do? The DAV in Tulsa has been a big help to me.

1-800-827-1000 is what i always use. I don't remember the sequence of numbers I hit to get to a live person, but I'm usually able to do it

Well at this point the regional office has my records for a claim, I am trying to get a copy of them. I went down and filled out the paperwork they wanted, it's been almost 2 months since I requested them from the local office.

When I call I go through the tree but when I get to where I can speak to someone, it tells me they are busy to call back later or call after hours and leave a message...

A shot in the dark, but have you tried mashing the 0 (zero) key repeatedly? That's worked for me quite a few times.

Yup! I'm gonna wait till 1, and try the local number.

Just give it some time. They work those in order received so it can take awhile.
