Valentine Gift Ideas?

I'm usually really good about planning ahead with thoughtful gifts. With our daughter having surgery next week I just now thought of Valentines.

Any good ideas besides flowers and chocolate??

We won't be going out that night or weekend - daughter blew her ACL in a BB game and is having surgery next week.

My wife always loves roses, so she's getting a dozen long stemmed roses, along with a bunch of little trinkets/fashion jewelry she showed me online that she really liked. She's been hinting at this stuff for months and probably thinks I forgot.

Thats a pretty decent idea right there! We have gone to a couple of small functions where a private chef came in and made the entire meal, while we all sat around the pool enjoying the company. (and beer)

I usually let my wife skip vacuuming and laundry that day. She can do an extra load and vacuum twice on the 15th.

Valentines day is my birthday. My wife bakes me a cake or pie that day.
I learned growing up that the whole country celebrates my birthday with chocolate hearts and flowers.
