I know there are a few threads on this. Heck, I think I had one last time I went. I just want to know if anyone has been very recently and what they did or reccomend. The Mirage comps my room so I stay there and play, mostly. I have plans to eat at In-n-out Burger, Lawry's Prime Rib, and the Bellagio Brunch Buffet. May go to Gold and Silver Pawnshop. Any suggestions?

I just got back from Vegas on Friday stayed at Excalibur. Ate In-n-Out twice at lunch, get there before 11 am. Ate at the Diablo resturant at the Monte Carlo that was very good. It is on the side walk on the strip. Fat Tuesday's for all your frozen drinks. Check out City Center hotel on the strip, crazy nice! We had a rental and was going to check out Gold and Silver Pawn, but heard it was in a bad part of town and just didn't make it over there. We did one of the Minus 5 bars, bar made completely of ice. Pretty neat experience and it was worth the money to my group.

I wouldn't waste my time going to Gold & Silver Pawn unless you have absolutely nothing else to do. It is in the crappy part of town between the strip and Fremont.

You gotta check out the bars on top of the hotels (TheMix the wife and I went to, which is on top of the THEHotel at Mandalay Bay was awesome, there is the Ghost Bar at the Palms, and Voodoo Lounge on top of The Rio) all have amazing views. The Eiffel Tower restaurant is pricey but delicious and a very nice atmosphere. Criss Angel's BeLIEve show was awesome. You hit it on the nail w/the Bellagio brunch, that is where we stayed at and the buffet is amazing. Just walking the strip at 3am with a drink in your hand is a great time.

My wife and I go 2 to 3 times a year. If you'll be a little more specific in the questions, I can be more specific with answers:idea:

Bars??

Shows??

Buffets??

Cheap Blackjack and craps??

Steaks??

Casinos just to visit and enjoy their theme??

Hoover Dam tour and now the Hoover Dam Bypass/Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.

Grand Canyon Skywalk??

Thrill rides(Stratosphere)??

Machinegun rental??

Harley Davidson rental??

Sure! Your opinions/info on these:

Best buffet?
Cheap Blackjack or other card games?
Best Steak?
Definetely machine gun rental!
Any food or gambling on Freemont street worth going down there?

Pretty much what has been mentioned already and what you have planned sounds like the usual cool fun stuff. I was just there Labor Day weekend but I stay at my cousins in Henderson/Green Valley when there so we just go to Vegas to eat and do a little playing around, drinking, etc. My cousin plays on the strip in a Heart tribute band as a guitarist. Hard Rock is a cool place to be on Wednesdays- its Service Industry night there. Buffets abound at the Bellagio. Too many great eating places to pick any one fave for me. Except for InNOut burger. Im from California so that place wouldnt be on any of my lists. Kinda burned on it- too many 3x3s. I used to live in Henderson and worked in Vegas so I like to go to the off the map places for my drinking and funs anyways. I spend my time getting tattooed when there, rocking at metal clubs, or at Cowtown Guitars.
