I only heard about it in the bathroom. That's really too bad, and I wish them no more gun sales ever.
I thought the price was crazy considering it was deactivated. For $12k, it needs to be functional. Now, if I could only afford that Swiss 20mm anti-tank rifle that I saw at one table!
My wife pointed out the banana to me. LOLI saw people taking pics; did anyone see the banana for sale on a table upstairs, amongst a couple dozen pistols? I bet a bunch of pics of that banana were taken!
The article says 3 rifles were taken in November valued at $170k. If a dealer has a >$50k item (or even $10k), they should be putting in a little additional effort to make sure it doesn't walk off. I bet some of those reports are insurance fraud.Yes........... talked to one of the security folks....... Just like the article states---it was done by 3 dealers.............
I hate friggin thieves. Glad they were caught, and great news to have an excellent video system installed in that building. Wish it was there when I had one lifted from my table a few years back!
I wonder if the three dealers are licensed or private sellers.
I felt it was a good show, Sunday was not as good as Saturday. Got to meet OKNewshawk and a few others great people, happy to get the chance to meet them in person. I would have liked to have meet dennishoddy and a few others I have not met yet.
It surprises me that three of our own (Tulsa Arms Collector's Association) would be thieves. It should not surprise me if you look at how many people are members. In every group of people there will always be a smaller group of bad apples.
I saw something that I want for the next big show, it is called a Cruzin Cooler. Several of us want to get them and have a race early Thursday morning when no one is in the building.
