Has anyone dealt with the Sig warranty department? If so, what was your experience?
I bought Sig P232 from H&H about 4 or 5 years ago.
Per my standard practice I tore it down the 1st night for a thorough inspection and cleaning. There's a tiny spring on the left of the slide that popped off during the take down. Try as I might it was gone; the universe devoured it and off to another dimension it went.
Called Sig the next day. Told 'em my story and asked how much for a new spring. Lady told me $25 minimum order - spring cost about 30 cents IIRC. I hesitated and before I could respond she told me she'd drop a couple of 'em in an envelope and mail 'em right out; no charge. I had 'em within a week.
Surprised me - since back then Sig Customer Service was really getting a bad rap.
Quick, easy and good service for me. YMMV
