Weapon Mounted Light

I bought a Streamlight TLR-1s from optics planet a while back for ~$115 and haven't even used it.. till now. Because of that storm, my mom and I didn't have power. My mom heard something she thought was at the front door and woke me up. I had my TLR-1s on my Glock 22 and checked it out. My house and street was pitch black and that 160 lumens was like sunlight! That light was sure handy while checking inside and outside my house. I couldn't imagine getting 160 lumens in my face when my eyes are adjusted to the dark. If you don't have a light on your home defense gun.... GET ONE!

I have that same light mounted on my Glock 19. It's a really tough light that's bright enough to light the house up and temporarily blind anyone in the path of it.

I have a WML also, and recommend it to anyone who keeps a gun in the house.

A light is probably the most essential feature of a home defense weapon.
