That's a wireline valve on top of the frac stack. I worked in the field running the crane and pressure control for wireline. I build the guns they perforate with before they frac.

I did that work a long long time ago. Worked for The Western Company out of Yukon in the very early '80s. Mostly cementing, but I did some frac jobs too. Geez, that seems like a million years ago now.

I was on a job recently and we had 28 pumps with a max rate of 240BPM. When all of those pumps throttled up at the same time it was amazing.
