A friend of mine asked me about a firearm she inherited from her father.

It is a Webley and Scott .38 Ltd. MK IV dbl action 5" barrel, War Finish. Has adjustable sights and appears to be in great condition.

Looking around, it looks like the .38s have a premium over the .455s.

Just wondering if anyone can give me any info?

Webley and Scott are wanted more than the Enfield version. Remember she's a .38S&W, not a .38 Special, and the .38S&W are fun to reload for. The original loading was for a 200gr all lead projectile, but was later changed to 173gr full metal jacket bullet. If you get your hands on her, and want to reload, keep them soft.
