What are 77 lives worth?

Appearantly in Norway 21 years. the man that killed 77 people (lots of kids) was sentenced to a mx term of 21 years, minimum of 10 years served in prison. Unreal!

Yeah I can't believe that. The prison systems over there are alot different than ours too... something like the "happiest prison systems" or something. I read it a while back, here is a similar article. It seems like a better life than I live haha

That's the statutory maximum term for anything over there; it's not like the judge had the discretion to give a longer sentence, but didn't.

Additionally, they have an option to extend it at the end of his term if he's still considered to be a danger. If I were him, I wouldn't be making any plans for an "outta joint" party.

I think he was saying that the prosecution proved he was premeditated, planned, and trained for. In normal circumstances it would not be suspicious, however in the situation it helps to make a case a premeditation rather than a snap of insanity
