Found this old Tag Heuer in my father-in-law’s things. Is it real or worth anything?
That is a Tag Heuer Kirium. It could be one of a few different models. Can't really tell without further inspection (opening the watch). It has certainly been worked on before. The crown has been replaced, as it is smaller than the factory crown would've been. Other than that, it looks correct to me. Likely worth at least 250-450 dollars - judging by eBay sales.
