Looks like I'm being held captive one more night. If they don't discharge me after rounds tomorrow it's adios AMA for me. FWIW pulse and BPs have not looked this good in years. I'm going to call Tuesday's events my own personal miracle. No way serendipity has me scheduled for a cardiac follow up on the very day this condition presents.

... I did celebrate another first. I got o pee in a plastic urinal!

BTDT. Brings back memories of 6 years ago when I had my stroke. They wouldn't let me off the gurney to go pee (said they weren't allowed to) and I told the nurse either let me go pee or I'll go right here and now. She gave me a plastic urinal. Got to use that plastic POS for another week until they let me go home.

If you have a discharge they'll likely prescribe antibiotics for that. What were you doing with those nurses, anyway?
