Its pretty cool to watch it run down the track. He used to get a lot of laughs in the staging lanes all the way up to the tree a few years ago but he is pretty well known now. It seems like this truck keeps getting faster, looks like he has a pretty healthy 2-stage nitrous system too. BTW that truck looks amazing under the hood haha.
There used to be a old truck running around with a 1000 horse Allison aircraft engine in the bed with camper over it.
Now that would be a sight! Not to mention the sound....
Can you imagine the look on a vette/camaro/mustang/challengers face when that took off like that?

It was. When I was about 10 my dad ran into him, or I should say got suckered into a race with him. He and I were headed back to Texas after visiting my grandfather. Dad was driving a fairly new pickup with a 350 and this guy pulls along side in an almost identical truck. The guy would give a little gas to shoot ahead then drop back to beside my dad. Suddenly they both took off and ran pretty even. Then the other guy started slowing, we heard a clanking noise and he just flew past us like we were standing still.
At the next rest stop we saw him and pulled off to talk. He showed us the Allison and explained that the truck was his toy. He would get someone to race him and when he was going fast enough would use the 350 to turn over the Allison and take off like a bat out of hell.
Wow, that was awesome. Never judge a book by its cover!
