What is this pistol worth???

I found this pistol over 25 years ago on the side of the road in a holster in Maine. I have had it for years and I have no idea what it is worth. It fires great and I have three magazines for it. It is a 22 Beretta made in Italy. It is a model 71 Jaguar, trying to acquire a value or if anyone has seen this gun before.

Found on the side of the road? I'd be curious about the results of a serial number inquiry through the PD. You might have a gen-u-ine throw away there.
