White folks dont usually talk about em much, or even know.
Not intending any disrespect but aren't you white too?
Yes I am, 'too'- my father was the typical white man with the small amount of Cherokee that most white people say they have but cant prove, and my mother is indian, she lives it every day. (My mothers father was a fullblood Osage original allottee her mother was mixed Kaw Osage and French, making my maternal side mostly indian). When I was a kid these things just werent spoken about with white people around was all I meant, doesnt mean you cant talk about it, I just remember being told not to. No big deal...
(Naa man its all good. Ya, that was me, Im a mixed bag of genetics, for sure not the darkest indian youre probably going to meet at 3/8s blood. There are alot of us though these days that are mixed. My father was a dark haired green eyed Scottish Irish 100% white man, his grandfathers came from Scotland and Ireland and my mother is 3/4 indian and French. My brothers and sisters got the dark hair brown eyes and Im the blonde haired with blue/green eyes. Im not just a card carrying poser tho like some who just became indian recently when they thought they were going to get casino richs (we dont get casino money). I know my families history and culture and have lived it growing up. I just came back from a weekend of our annual dances and we are inaugurating a new chief, who happens to be my cousin as is half the tribe and county. I cant deny who I am when I go home because almost everyone there I am related to.I wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers I was just wondering because I thought I had done deals with you back in the early years of OSA and I remember you being on the far side of white, I am not putting down your heritage I was mainly just wondering if I had you confused with another member because the conviction you have about American Indians.
