Wondering what is a reasonable price for 55 grain FMJ 223 per 500 or case?

Well, up until a month ago, I got it for $0.34-0.36 per round at Wally World. pretty much whenever I needed it.
Brand/quality will play a large role in the price
I hope this ammo mess slows down. I miss my 4.99$ a box steel case monarch at academy. don't shoot that stuff it's bad for guns and dirty(more for me) lol
Lake city brass, USA ammo, factory reloaded. .50 cent a round seems a little steep to me, but is that the 'new' ballpark now?

well .50 a round is better than the .70 to 1.00$ a round I've seen for sale lately.
