Not the 240-round cans - those are loaded into cardboard boxes. The cans with the rounds loaded into the en bloc clips hold 192 rounds.

Some of the 240s were loaded in clips with cardbard sleeves (30 total). The 192 round cans also included bandoleers. The cans did not.

No. Pre HXP when the CMP was selling the regular .30 cans. They may have even gone as high as 288. I had several. Ex wife sold them in a garage sale. One of the many reasons she's an ex.
