Where to practice drawing and firing?

Some of the best carry practice I have ever done was the Carry Gun Match at Heartland Outdoors in Edmond. It is the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. If all else fails, go to an action pistol match. OKCGC runs a monthly USPSA match. Most of the IDPA matches are in the Tulsa area. There used to be one in Hinton and they run one in Duke.

Hopefully someone will be along to give you a public range that allows it in your area.

Since you are in Oklahoma City, H&H 2nd Sunday match is probably the closest - you can run the course concealed or open (I've done it both ways).

I would STRONGLY recomend getting some traning Before going to a match. Will does a Great job at H&H http://pistolskills.com/ USSA, TDSA, My self and others teach a very good Draw stroke. Lear it right First and it will be much better for you.

A modest drive west of OKC metro puts you into Weatherford. The Tin Star facility there puts on IDPA matches.
