Where to shoot near tahlequah?

Live in talequah. What are my options?

Unfortunatly there are no public ranges in Tahlequah. There is a range at Camp Gruber if you go in the Zeb entrance but you have to have a hunting license to use it. The next closest would be the range in Wagoner. Hopefully some day soon someone will open a range here in Tahlequah. If I had the money and the time I would do it.

Yes the range on CGM is ok but you do need to have your hunting license .. and read the book about what season is going on. It will tell you when it is closed to the public . I used to go up there to shoot, till some drunks came up and started unloading TV set's, old computers and other things to shoot.

There has been talk of someone putting in a range for a couple of years but so far that's all it is, talk.
