BTW, what meet up? I wasn't informed, there cannot be a meet up unless I am informed. I'm telling debleak and Okie
It’s a secret club jimmy, I’ll text you the password.
Btw, Adam. I can’t make it again! We’re going to hang out on the patio and enjoy a fire. The Mrs is prettier than some dang ol watches!

Good man.

There is an old Tissot from the 50’s that would make for a fantastic restoration project. I’m going to see if I can talk Sacha out of it.

Bought one and sold one tonight. PRX is gone. I picked up an old Tissot from the 50's(ish) to restore at some point, although it isn't the one I went up there for originally. 21 people and a probably 200 watches there tonight. Cool stuff.

Closer zoom of the watch. Citizens chrono, but belonged to my dad. My brother and I chipped in to buy it for him for some occasion - don’t remember if birthday or Christmas or something, but he wore it most days until he passed prematurely at 61.

When I took up an interest in watches I dug this out of a drawer and had it restored. At some point it had taken a tumble through a washing machine which broke the stem and allowed water to ruin the movement, so had all that replaced and cleaned up.
It was on a bracelet but my dad was a considerably smaller human than I am so I wear it on a strap

Here is a watch that is probably not the most valuable, but it has a lot of history. It was a service award watch for 20 years of service. I wore it many years before it gave up. Then it stayed in my desk drawer several years. Then a couple of folks on here got me fixed up. Huge Thank You thor447 & dlbleak. We are lucky to have some great members in this group.
