I'd whole heartedly recommend it, however I will say that the factory leather strap it comes with is a bit thick. I changed it out for a much better strap and it is only 1 of 2 non-mechanical watches I wear regularly. I think that watch is also sold on a bracelet, but it'll be more expensive.

VGreen - Epsom leather on that one. I like using VGreen because they custom make to order and I can order longer straps that actually fit me correctly. They are priced very fairly for hand-made leather straps, and it only takes them 5-7 days to ship. They'll also send you a link to a YouTube short they upload of your very strap once completed so you can see it before it ships.

Mine is pretty much identical. Got mine new in about 2002/2004. Been all over the world with me a bunch of times and is probably the last one I'd even consider getting rid of.

Restored 1976 Seiko I finished a couple of months ago. This was my first attempt at lapping a watch case, but it turned out pretty well.
