I’ve had that happen before. Wasn’t Amazon, and wasn’t the shippers fault, but I was glad I got a replacement sent. Definitely not what anyone wants to happen for sure.I WAS going to be wearing/comparing the Citizen Ti perpetual motion machine today, but Amazon gave it to somebody else, and I hope they enjoy the free watch...I surely would, but had to pay for mine.
They will not even try to look for it. They will let me request a refund or replacement but only tomorrow at earliest. It was delivered, just not here.
This one was both Amazon fault and delivery driver fault. Despite having correct street address, their own map pinned my address elsewhere, the delivery driver did what handset told him without verifying address on package matched where he was leaving it.I’ve had that happen before. At least you were able to go get it. I know what I would do next. This one was both Amazon fault and delivery driver fault. Despite having correct street address, their own map pinned my address elsewhere, the delivery driver did what handset told him without verifying address on package matched where he was leaving it.
And no mechanism with Amazon to notify driver of wrong address even when Amazon told of incorrect delivery.
Only "please wait until the next day to file a claim".
I looked at their tracking map, saw where they pinned my address, and went there my own damned self, and asked for my package, which the resident gave me. Just got home and review will follow tomorrow, as giving it some time under artificial light tonight and some sun tomorrow to make sure it doesn't stop while taking photos.
The Seiko Samurai on same strap is 3.8oz, and this is watch is 2oz.. I save a LOT of weight with either by going the HD NATO and have two springbars keeping watch on arm. Both watches quite comfy and truly note very little difference on arm past flatter Citizen with less sleeve hanging. But the Citizen battery and solar cell can go 20yrs.Love that watch!
