Gotta ask, what hammer is used when making watches? Look at the stater box, it has a silhouette of a watchmaker with a hammer:
Pocket watch case making, but other than that, not often. At least not in the manner they are showing. Hammers are used with staking sets, but with a lot more precision and delicacy than that box!
