I lived in a little town overrun by squirrel, complaints were ignored unti they got into the new city hall building and did $30,000 worth of damage, and a guy came in with a suppressed Chipmunk rifle in broad daylight and wiped out hundreds in one day, the little rifle appeared at worst a BB-gun, one little old lady came across him and noted all the dead squirrel littering the ground and remarked it seemed a virus was taking care of the squirrel problem, and the guy replied that likely was the case. Your area might be due a bird flu outbreak any day now, a virus is a terrible thing.I actually want to hunt geese now. They hang out on my front lawn. I usually run out to scare them off or honk my vehicles horns if I am driving buy. Goose poop is not a good fertilizer and hard to spray off the pavement. Unfortunately my subdivision is not zoned for goose hunting.
