That pebbled burgundy strap at Veblenist has been on my WTB list for quite a while. Someday I'll grab one for the Bubbleback. I currently have that Wenge strap on order for the '55 Visodate.
Veblenist makes top quality straps, as you are away. FYI, I just got one in today. They are taking longer than normal it seems. My order was placed on 12/3, with delivery on 12/31. Perhaps because they are made to order, but they aren't kidding around when they say 3 weeks or more before shipping.

My vote The Burgundy Buffalo grain for $30
Those are solid straps for the money. I have one in dark brown and I'm not sure that $30 would buy a nicer strap.

BTW @dlbleak, if you can find anything in Color #8 shell cordovan, it would look amazing. #8 is a dark brown/ maroon color. I know that Veblenist carries the color, but the strap is $130.

Veblenist is definitely my favorite strap maker and well worth the extra $ IMO. I've pretty much stopped purchasing any mid-line, mass produced leather straps since it's hit or miss as to whether or not I like and use them. Veblenist is batting 1000 so far.

Luckily, they have a "ready made" section on their site. Anything listed there would ship immediately. There are currently 14 straps in 18mm listed IIRC. Nearly everything is standard or short length though.

I was thinking burgundy or maroon so the veblenist band is nice. But, I kinda like that hazelnut rust Fluco too

The suede Fluco straps aren't bad for the money. They're not quite as nice as suede straps in the $100 range, but they are also significantly nicer than any of the Amazon and CNS suede straps.

If you like suede, they have that Fluco strap in a Bordeaux color as well. Unfortunately, they've taken a bit of a price hike at Holbens. I'd swear that I only paid $37 for each of my two suede Fluco straps ($41 currently).

And that's why I cannot order from their 'Ready Made' section, lol. I'll be stuck on the waiting list for every strap I order. I agree though, they are pretty much batting a thousand for me as well.
