From my experience with Kinetics you want to wear them fairly regular to keep some charge in them @thor447 fixed mine up with a new factory "battery" and I theorize that I let it run all the way down too many times and it basically died. It isn't that old either. It'll still fire up and run, but no matter how much you shake it to charge it, it'll only run a few minutes.
Just like a car battery, any rechargeable outside old nicad is bad juju to run down to deep discharge, they get to where they only take a shallow surface charge....likewise keeping fully topped off most of time, they need to cycle up and down...even cell phones warn of this.
Love the large day wheel display with full spelling, and wonder if I could get such a wheel where watch brand changed daily.
Actually I came close to getting one. The novelty and PO progressives, the latter being the best reason. I do not think they are poorly built, just a little overpriced. Waiting on four watches, one arriving in April. Other three are "iffy." Trying to focus on dream/grail watches.
