When GC and I first got together I was working at the Tax Commission. TPTB there made me "essential personnel" because ... and I quote "Well, GC is essential and you can just ride in with him."
For those of you who do not understand how that works basically what that meant was when everyone else got a "pass" and paid for a day off I had to go in and work anyway ...
I was never so happy to quit a damned job in my life ... Lots of state agencies are the pits to work for but that place has a reputation all it's own. I've never met a single solitary person who works for the state who hasn't said "Oh, I'm sorry" when they found out I worked for Tax ...

Yeah, a couple years age, we were the only facility in the southern half of the state that didn't get 8 hrs inclement weather leave. Ef-em! I took annual that day and the next!
While we've never met, I'd bet you're a LOT sexier than you give yourself credit for. You're always downplaying your looks, but I'm guessing(based on experience) that GC sees something that you can't or won't. Merry Christmas to all whether it F'ing snows or not.

yes some of us have to work, the sick do not get well over the holidays & hospital work is 24/7 my turn this year. Hope I get here & more importantly home tomorrow night because i'm off until new years

I was visiting my inlaws in texas in 09 and missed my shot at a white christmas then, so I want a repeat. On a funny note a lady on the weather channel said that parts of oklahoma and arkansas may see their first white christmas in over 80 years.
