I finally found me a Ruger Montado Vaquero.

Been looking for a while now and had just about given up. Now I need the leather. It seems to be harder to find than the revolver was. Not many 3.75 vaqueros around to create the demand.

I am looking for leather and like the idea of a crossdraw style. Actually I would like to have a standard right hand holster as well for when a cross draw wouldn't work.

I've had several made for my birdshead new Vaquero (which is basically the same gun.) The quickest was from El Paso Saddlery - heres the site for their dual position holsters. http://www.epsaddlery.com/c-64-dual-position.aspx. The best has been from Ryan Grizzle - his take about 8 weeks. He made this one and an IWB for me.
