to tag our vehicles???????
Mine expired in October and I have renewed it. this last week alone, I have seen paper tags on cars from July, August, and September. Have seen other cars with stickers that expired 6 months ago. Would think this would be a good source of FINE revenue. Would be willing to bet that at least 50% of those out there without a current sticker have no insurance either.

Just a rant/pet peeve.

If you were to hit a car that did not have a current tag, could you fight the ticket by stating the car should not have been there to begin with?

Get off my lawn.
I thought my wife's car expired in September, but it really did in March. She got pulled over in June or July and the OHP officer said he was going to impound her car. He let her go since she is a nurse and was on her way to work. I had her new tag for her when she got home that day. :D

Stuff gets done when there is a pissed off red headed nurse in the works.

better have your stuff together here in Bethany.. watched a couple guys walk away from the car being impounded because their stuff wasn't in order...

Oh yea, make sure your turn signals work.... I'm sure that brand new car came with them... because the fine is up there if someone gets pissy...

I'll be the first one to say that I have towed many vehicles that had out of date tags and no insurance, but common sense should prevail. Assuming the person isn't just being a prick, I would let them go if it was within a month, two at the very most if they were nice... insurance, same thing. Mix the two of them, I'm a little less easy. Completely depends on the totality of the circumstances.

I got impounded several years ago in Cleveland County because Bob Howard dropped the ball on transferring my title and they wrote up a new paper tag after it had been expired by a month and a half, then the second tag was 2 months expired when I got pulled over and impounded.

Of course my constant phone calls did nothing to rush them along until this happened. I was able to score a free loaner car from Bob Howard in the week and a half it took for them to finally release the title and get it from the bank. I had to pay the impound fees up front, but they reimbursed me after like 2-3 weeks.

Bob Howard sucks.
