Why is the alcohol factor not in gun stats?

Whenever there’s an auto accident they always include a comment about whether alcohol was involved; has anyone ever seen death-by-gun stats that include whether alcohol was involved?
I bet shooting the mother in law seems like a much better idea when you’re drunk, then that adds to the stat of being more likely to be shot by someone you know.
I bet it’s involved in quite a few firearm homicides if the truth were known. We all know good judgment goes out the window in proportion to the level of blood alcohol.

Americans drink more wine than any other country, with NAPA Valley being a huge percentage of wine producedhere in the U.S.

Don't look for The People's Soviet Socialist Republic of Kalifornia plowing under the vineyards and planting green peas anytime soon to save that one child's life.

Everyone knows guns & alcohol dont mix. I agree alcohol puts things in your mind you would not normally do. I think there should be a record in a shooting where alcohol or drugs are involved.

For the Most part I agree but I remember my first deer trip with my Grandfather. Sitting in that tree stand, freezing my butt off and him handing me a flask of cinnamon schnapps. Man I miss the freedom of no nanny state
