I don't personally know of any transmission of hog diseases to humans, but looks like it is possible. CB

My brother in Muskogee gave a wild hog to his pastor. Pastor's wife cooked it and they think did not wash hands well after handling meat. No one who ate the cooked meat got sick but she got some parasite? disease? that she has had issues for several years with.

I have told about a dozen of my non-forum friends who hunt hogs about this, and none of them had heard about it. I plan to keep hog hunting, but will be more careful. CB
