Picked some up at Gene Sears, anyone have any experience with, load data, etc., for 6.5 CM?
I’m not close enough to a range to shoot that much, nor do I have as the warehouse of stock you do to put the calculations into it!I load 30-06 and .308 and others and I average 48gr for each round.
That is only 145 rounds for 1 lb of powder that really does not go as far as you think.
You will sometimes burn that many finding the perfect load and perfect brass and primer.
I am sure 20 or more will be plinked on a day at the range.
That is only 6 trips to the range. Not to mention hunting.

You’re real close to Gene Sears range off Banner road, that’s the closest range to me as well. Canton WMA is an hour, but I’ve yet to go there.I am not either for the places I shoot.
60-70 miles one way and there are times i drove 160 1 way to shoot a few loads at long distances.
Not at any public range.
Only range that is sort of public I go to now it Lexington WMA range.
a tick over 60 miles.
But 30-35 mpg from my vehicle makes it not hurt the wallet so bad.
Yea sometimes I do drive my 13-18 mpg vehicle.
No doubt it gets crowded.I would rather drive to Lex or somewhere else. Then pay to shoot and it gets too crowded at Banner
