You are supposed to tell her you are trading some stuff you do not use for the powder then go meet the powder guy by yourself.
Goodness I should not need to tell you this.
And if you get a new rifle you did not buy it you traded one of the many shotguns you have.
I have over 30 lbs of IMR 4064 and feel that really is just enough to get by and not to the hording stage.

I load 30-06 and .308 and others and I average 48gr for each round.
That is only 145 rounds for 1 lb of powder that really does not go as far as you think.
You will sometimes burn that many finding the perfect load and perfect brass and primer.

I am sure 20 or more will be plinked on a day at the range.
That is only 6 trips to the range. Not to mention hunting.
Prices are as low as what we will see for a long time I feel and get it now and be stocked for 20+ years.

Children and or grand children will need to plink also.

I am not either for the places I shoot.
60-70 miles one way and there are times i drove 160 1 way to shoot a few loads at long distances.
Not at any public range.
Only range that is sort of public I go to now it Lexington WMA range.
a tick over 60 miles.
But 30-35 mpg from my vehicle makes it not hurt the wallet so bad.
Yea sometimes I do drive my 13-18 mpg vehicle.

You’re real close to Gene Sears range off Banner road, that’s the closest range to me as well. Canton WMA is an hour, but I’ve yet to go there.

I run Staball 6.5 in my 6.5cm bolt rifles and semi autos with 140gr Projos. The velocity and accuracy is on par with my varget loads (although the AR10 hates the powder and shoots it 1.5 moa instead of the normal 1/2-3/4 moa varget loads). I love that it meters like water though!
